C & C on the beach

Today we had the pleasure of meeting up with the Cordova and the Clark family's. We headed off to the beach for some fabulous pictures. Several other photographers and family's had the same idea. The beach was pretty crowded, but we were patient and I think there were only about 3 pictures where there is someone other then my intended family in the picture! It was SO hard to pick just a few samples for here. I hope you guys had as much fun as we did!

Just Because

Our cousin Ashley wanted to come with us to take Edwardo's pictures. We suggested that she dress a little nice and maybe we would take some pictures of her too. Since she's so cute and all! Well, we ended up taking a lot of pictures and having a lot of fun!

Eduardo's a Senior!

Today we had the pleasure of taking Eduardo for his senior pictures! Eduardo is one of our very helpful, very talented interns. We headed off to San Diego to get a "urban walk" type of session. We had a great time and got some fabulous pictures!

Oh My Family

On The 28th our family got together for pictures! They say that doctors kids are always sick and dentists kids always have cavity's, well I guess you could say photographers family's are rarely photographed. At least that's the case for us. It had been three years since all of us have had a picture taken together. So about 2 months ago, I started planning family pictures. Our family has a annual gingerbread making night so this seemed like the perfect night. Everyone got off work and was in town and changed plans and and and. . . And then it started to rain. And rain. And rain. Up until about an hour before we were supposed to meet, everyone was calling or texting me asking when I was going to accept defeat. I called Jessica and told her, "I don't care if we have to cram everyone in the studio, we are taking a picture today!" Neither of us were excited about that prospect, but after weeks of organizing 15 peoples different schedules, we were taking pictures! I prayed and had faith and God was gracious to give us the break in the rain we needed!

The Lanier Family

On the 27th we had the opportunity to meet up with the Lanier family. It had been about a year since we saw them and we just couldn't believe how much everyone had changed! Jed was just a baby last Christmas and now he's a toddler who just didn't want to sit still! We were missing the oldest son Josh, so the family was not complete, but due to a deployment date for Kiffen, we were running out of time. Maybe next year we'll be lucky enough to get them all together again and maybe, just maybe Jed will want to smile for us (when he knows we're looking).

Cousins

On the 24th we had the opportunity to see one of favorite little guys, Drew and some of his cousins! What a great group of kids! They all seemed to have a good time!
